Where it comes from

It begins with the following post, put on X by Jean-Paul ジャン・ポール (@HongoIII) on August 18, 2026. The post says that 105 stands for “Imaginary Oneness Support” — the act of standing alongside the kind of experience where the line between yourself and the world, or a fiction, goes soft — and that the natural abbreviation would be “IOS”, rewritten as “105” so the word is easier to search. The quote is kept in the original Japanese.

105 は “Imaginary Oneness Support” の略で、トランスや「頭の中トロトロ」と表現されるような、自分と外界、或いは虚構との感覚が曖昧になる体験をサポートする行為を指していて、音声作品などの実体に即しているし、代替用語として良いのでは？と密かに思っている奴。

なお、本来の略語だと “IOS” になるのを、検索的な都合で “105” に置き換えている。

How Shiun uses it

Shiun uses the word as the name of a category that broadly covers content and creative work built on suggestion and guidance: the 105 scene, 105 creators, 105 works, 105 play, and so on. cv105, the domain name of this site (where “cv” carries several meanings, such as character voice and conversion), is one of them.

105 is not a word of treatment. Tasting how good suggestion and trance feel, inside creative work — and making that. To Shiun, that is what 105 is.

No qualification and no permission are needed for the word as things stand. What Shiun settles is only how it is used in Shiun’s own works. Shiun hopes more people will use it the same way and carry it further. If it sits right, take it and use it.
